If I sell my vehicle can I:

1. Transfer the same system to a new vehicle?
Yes
2. Transfer/configure the system for the new owner of the vehicle, e.g phone number/sim, new shutdown password. etc?
Yes
3. What are the associated costs with the above?
For No.1 you pay the installation fee for the new vehicle
For No.2 you simply let us know who is the new driver so we can update our security/ EMR database.

or do i have to purchase a new system for every new vehicle i purchase?
You can do this if you like, we wouldn't mind :)

We are still at 100% recoveries! More importantly I think is the recovery time we try to keep with our quickest time so far being just over 6 minutes! Our slowest time to date has been 37 minutes.

These are both actually. The quicker time was a person on our monitoring plan. She was hijacked in a supermarket parking lot. Being a quick thinker she managed to press one of the panic buttons. This sent out an alert and our security centre responded immediately. The vehicle was shut down within the car park and the response team reached within minutes.

The latest time was a person who was in a mall and got an alert that the car door was open. When they went outside they met the person who then took their keys and drove off. (We advise customers to avoid confronting car thieves, they tend to be armed and dangerous!). After being calmed and prompted by her son, she then finally called the 24hr security number and an armed team was sent out. The vehicle was tracked to a location on the saddle road. When the officers saw the vehicle it was shut down and retrieved.

Interested in this product, have CarSearch now but not into paying annual fees. I was also comparing your product to the services at VehicleTracking.co.tt...... other than the included alarm in your product, what are the major differences/advantages/disadvantages of using your product as opposed to theirs?

(BTW, you need to spruce up your website)

I just recently installed a viper 3303 alarm with 3 point immobilizer so I would like to get everything you offer without your alarm. How much would that cost and exactly what are all the features I would get? Is your 24hr Armed Response, 24hr Roadside Assistance and 24hr Emergency Medical Response available island-wide and if so what is the average waiting time for these 24hr services to arrive? For example, suppose I'm driving in Toco, Cumuto or Cedros and my car shuts down or is stolen what will your repose time be like? Also, what is the yearly cost to subscribe to all those 24hr services or instead of a yearly cost what are the per use basis costs for each 24hr service?

I'm very interested in your response times because just Monday my car shut down and I used my TTAA membership to call the wrecker which took one and a half hours to arrive which was ridiculous.

Yes, your website does need upgrading. If you put the answers to all the questions from this forum on your website that will give your company a better online image. Just by visiting your website a prospect may be turned off since there are not enough details about your services there.

Cooper and global, The Website is being upgraded and hopefully should be up within the next few weeks! (I really hope so its been quite a delay!)

In addition to the alarm and voice monitoring we also offer as pointed out by global rapid response, roadside assistance and emergency medical response. We aim to offer a complete care package for your vehicle all under one roof, and were always adding on new products to our lineup.

All our security agents are precepted and have been properly trained and as the name says... its RAPID response! Our roadside teams use flatbed trucks and come straight to a caller! So no waiting 1.5 hours! We ensure there is a pick up within 30 minutes anywhere in the country (from Maraval to Moruga, from Toco to Tamana or from Cedar Hill to Cedros!)

All this would be mentioned in the new website! The FAQ section would also include the questions asked here. This site as well as other TOP car and security sites would be in the links section :D

In the meantime though any other questions please feel free to call 299-4GPS (4477)

what happens is someone accidentally presses the panic button? would the car shut off right away and the security team be alerted? or would you be alerted and talk to an agent about what happened first? like OnStar emergency service in the states?

As one of the guys asked earlier, what is the cost if you don't need the alarm but just the tracking ability. for example if i need to know where the vehicle is at any given time and also perhaps be able to shut it dow if its out of bounds. also if i shut it down, whats the process to have it restarted? also, can the vehicle be tracked in real time all during the day from my PC?

I noticed that those GSM blockers cost about US$200.00 to US$400.00 and most car thieves are part of highly organised crime rings so it may not be difficult to obtain since it is a multi million dollar industry. Also these GPS alarms are hitting the market with a wave; so I reckon that the theives are gearing up and will be prepared. Therefore, if they have a GSM blocker that works before you shut down your car, is that the end of your car? Or will GraviTrak still be able to find your car and how long after?

Ron,

Any plans on reducing the price given that there is increasing competition in the market?

Sorry. A short while ago I called and asked if the Maloney Street location was open on Saturdays and instead of a polite answer, I got a very rude "Who is this?" With that answer, I just didn't bother.
You lost out on a sale there. I got a solution from one of your competitors that I think works better. You need to have a little better phone ettiquete than that when answering a phone number that's advertised for business. It may mean the difference between a sale for you, or a sale for your competition. Just my 2 cents..

Sorry to hear this. You are correct about phone ettiquete. Can you remember which CSR you spoke to? You can pm me the name. Also, please bear in mind we don't have a Maloney location and never did (that's one of our competitors- which I am assuming you called).
I can assure you our CSRs are very professional and polite and we have even received compliments from customers for this. Any of our existing customers here can attest to that fact.
Please feel free to call us at 299-4477 for any of your future security needs.

I installed the system more than a year ago an it works really good. Never had any complaints. fortunately the van was never stolen "knocks on wood". Now you can have that peace of mind cuz whenever you vehicle is tampered you r one of the first to know. And even if you're carjacked you're still in control even if they take your phone. Just remember the vehicles # and the passcode and u can use any phone to send an instruction, be it location , shutdown, call u back etc.

Worth every cent!
Ronnie told me that they still have a 100% recovery rate and that they will be gettin a chopper soon to assist with recoveries as more cars are being stolen now and the traffic situation.

if a vehicle is stolen and the thief yanks out the antenna for the system, is there another antenna that is hidden to allow communication to continue?
