Cool scene. Word of advice...all the info should be on the first post and can be edited accordingly to reflect updates. Most ppl dont have time to read through 5 pages of information to find more important details.

Will be there.

Oh what a day we had! I am overwhelmed with not only the turnout, but the way ppl showed their appreciation for the show. So so many to thank and a few to apologize to...just couldnt get everyone into the Park....and some of the activities weren't executed properly (DWO's drift and burnout session) and MANY of the show cars had no idea where the Judging Tent was or was required to register.

I will be honoring my promise to award the $5000 each to the Best Antique & Old School as soon as I go thru the pictures. I already have my favorites, but just need to make the right decision. I just was way tooooo busy to award them there today...(just to clarify, the Trophies awarded to the classes have nothing to do with this cash gift.

I will also be honoring the commitments to the 3 Clubs that helped make this happen....in a day or so. I just need to take a break....my lungs are hurting me.

Once again...thank you my friends, Skinner Park and Hott 93 !!!!

Oh and the dust!!! The admin of Skinner Park leveled the park after carnival with top soil...but they could have at least waited til AFTER the show...cheups man!!!

many ways of looking at things nowadays yes...

But Minis first came out in 1959 and I think it captured what the "ol school" meant to many today....whether it was bone stock or dressed up a bit.

This 56 Dodge also doesnt exactly represent a TRUE Antique either...but the way I built it, embodies the Hot-Rod culture.

So what was the criteria for judging old school? Was a certified copy used to verify? Who were the judges and were they trained or know of ol school?

The Judges were IASCA certified and were using the new and vetted tuner jam international rules.

Seeing that one uses IASCA much again in TnT, I call b.s on their judgement. It have people right here who are better judges in the auto industry. How come the expertise of, Brij Maharaj Auto and Heritage Museum and the expertise of Kevin Singh who writes articles on classic cars for ZORCE were not used? It just so surprising that one of the IASCA judges could win a trip to China.
