i believe it was sold without the engine.....the engine from the hatch, well at least some of it, made its way into the evo.
well that's what i heard.....i have not yet had the opportunity to go look at the car up close in person...

the hatch was indeed a monster, most memorable for me was it coming from the back of the field to win the san fernando gp.....off the line, few cars could keep up with it, not bad for a car with a numberplate and headlights.

Another class ? For the knowledge of all , please tell us if HN ( noted in this thread ) is already racing against B16A , B18C and H20A equipped cars , how will going to sr20 vvl put him in a higher class?

Hey, don't get cornfused, you're correct, I race my 1.6 with the bigger cc cars.

In 2014 CMRA joined the 2 classes into one 0-2000cc. It was easier for them. I just got a raw deal but didn't worry about it, with a littler more work I'II be OK.

Come 2015 there are three classes, GP 2 (0-2000cc), Gp3 (2000-3000 & Turbo/Eng. Swap) & GP4 (4wd etc...). The key balance it the weight factor.

well i was wrong and right .... i knew they all raced together but thought the 0-1599cc was still a class by itself

you're right,

CMRC GP2 : 0-2000cc & 8 valves up to 2300cc
TTASA still has a 0-1600cc class as GP1

The Honda guys are running K20's & B18C, there's only 1- B16a (Marc) & 1- SR16 (HN) all the others have big cc, I mean the other 15 guys....so to keep up with them is a huge task.

Both 1600cc TNT cars need a little more work and can move to the front, presently we're running in the top 6 (5th &6th) but with a little help (SPONSOR) we can head the pack..... just need the edge..
