After a best run through Cuevas time for something a bit more sane. (Cause it was real madness in Cuevas )

I posting this announcement on behalf of the newly elected board so don't get any horrors.

Sunday 19TH February 2012 (Carnival Sunday!)

Side B to Cedros!

Meeting Venue: KFC Gulf View (Opposite Gulf City).
Meeting Time: 8:00am Sharp!
Departure Time: 8:30AM Sharp!

Itineary: Meet up, Jerseys distribution (PM Leo for more Info), on d road to Cedros, St Quentin Road (not really a road) onto the beach to relax, eat up, bathe up, drive up to icacos on d beach and back out!

Info on Cedros: Cedros has the biggest beach span in Trinidad at low tide. Tide info can be extracted here http://tides.mobilegeographics.com/cale ... /4983.html. Water is calm and hardly any waves are seen.

Info on the trail: St Quentin road is not a road. It used to be though! Lots of water and coconut trees and black sand and mud. Not tough at all and most can make it through in 2wd. Maybe 4wd for fun! Plus there will be some exploring of the cliffs at columbus bay.

EDIT: I must advise that on this run it is required by each individual who intends to walk about when we hit the cliffs that they walk with tall boots and insect repellent. Reason being the plantation has become really overgrown and we will definitely be heading into this territory. Also some bush demolition devices are welcomed!

nice run, been going cedros as child and camping, fishing, and bathing....

mostly a road run eh fellas, so dont expect too much mud, but there are some long spans of beach we can play on, play on carefully........

so we gotta move early folks, its gonna be a non or one stop flight, if everyone can try their best and make it on time to the meeting point (TBA) it will be beneficial to all of us,

latees will definitely have to play the catchup game....

so please take the time out the night before and try your best to fuel up, double check your vehicle, gather your eats and drinks and rest well, one stop may be allowed, for ice and a possible chance of latecomers catching up....


for most of us the drive will endure close to 200kms,
its mostly paved surfaces we moving on, but the south scouts, have a few nifty tricks planned for us.........
