Best places to eat T&T

Postby zeeshan66 » April 19th, 2009, 4:16 pm

I know I’m not the only one who loves to eat! Let’s hear where you guys love to eat and what they are known for…everything from street food to full course restaurants. We are among the lucky nations to have such a vast and diverse culinary spectrum, so let’s uncover the secrets!

I’m looking for the exotic, the different, the rare and the delicious...So fellow tuners what do you recommend?

To start I’ll have to recommend
1) MORE VINO
Location: Aripita Avenue
What to try: Weekly menu change from food all around the world Try it all! AND the only place I’ve found that has Shisha aka Hookah, aka Nargela
Hot Nights: Tues – live music, local art work auction. Offcourse weekends!

2) SNAPPERS
Location: in Trincity next to J Malones.
What to try: Daily Special M-F I had steak and lobster with fries and a salad for $110! I also tried the jerk shrimp appetizers that came with a sweet chutney sauce and some polouri!
-There are also specials like above for cheaper lobster and shrimp pasta $95! its worth a try guys.

3) ANGELO’S
Location: Aripita Avenue POS
What to try: Daily special M-F for $135 you get an appetizer plus main with a healthy size glass of wine (red or white)! talk about a great deal and the food is TOPS! Highly recommended!

4) CHINESE WOK
Location: City Center Mall (chaguanas) upstairs marios pizza
What to try: Chicken lo mein foir $38
- they usually have a stand selling down stairs lunches for $25..that’s what got me hooked.

5) SWAAD
Location: Price Place food court
What to try: They change their menu daily, however the best I could recommend is the curry lamb and naan. Very good at about $60 they also have combo specials but nothing else is really in comparison.
