Hey tuners, in the morning I want to put on a new set of tires on my car. Right now I have some Dunlops 205/60/14 on the car that need replacing. I wanted to know what brand would you guys recommend and where would I be able to get such. My normal route is from chag to sando on mornings so anywhere along this route would be good. I'm looking to spend around $400-450 per tire

best tyre for that price imo is dunlop direzza DZ101, if u can locate some sumitomo HTR 2000/200 works decent as well

AFAIK it comes from 15" up. If you can upgrade to 15's then the DZ101 is a good option. I'd still say stick with the Dunlop 205/60/14. I have the Sumitomo HTR 200 on my car now and i find it a bit noisy. These can be had from Tire Clinic as well.

Kumho or Michelin would be great as well but more expensive.

believe me those tires handle well and last long especially with the run you making just call to see if they have 14'' in stock tho the 14'' would be around the same price to or less

i disagree on the dunlop dz101...have had them...and they perform poorly in the wet and they not special in the dry either.....might be jus me (i drive hard)

a friend suggested the sumitomos instead to me.....check them out, i like the tread pattern on them more for dispelling water

boi d dunlop dz101 worked well initially, den rain started, don't make that mistake.

they didnt perform as well as the sp9000

The nice thing with the Sumitomo or Dunlop is that it comes with the road Hazard warranty. They work well but Michelin is always worth the lil extra paper. (Then again some Michelin tyre prices can be really ridiculous!)

and i would tend to disagree as my experience on my previous car and a B15 now has been quite good on wet and dry with the Direzzas with both driven hard.

everyone's experience is different i suppose.

dunlop seems to wear a bit fast but traction is really good
the kuhmo tread wear is excellent traction is also good "prefer these"
nexen traction sucks tread wear is good

Nexen N7000's work well, not sure if u get them for the 14's
