Details :

To give a more detailed description of the device, this device works on an individual’s fingerprint recognition to clock in and clock out . Therefore only the employee can clock in or out , there is no editing of written records or “buddy punching” . This means you are guaranteed that your employees time in and time out are accurate and cannot be altered or forged.

The device is programmed for simplicity of use , therefore once an employee places his/her finger on the device for the first time at the start of each new day , it records the first time as “in” , the second time would be recorded as “out” and so fort . Therefore it can be used for lunch hours as well.

The device gives a visual display of the employee name when clocking in or out as well as a voice command saying “identification successful” or “identification failed” .

Employees can be enrolled on the system by using 2 fingerprints or one , so they can use the finger of their choice at the point of enrollment. It takes less than one minute to enroll a new employee on the system.

These devices are TCP/IP based , therefore they can be easily added to your network infrastructure and the data from the devices can be downloaded from the device via the network connection. The records can also be transferred by use of a usb device even if your company does not have a network installed.

The device itself can hold up to 30000 records before rewriting old records. All records once downloaded are stored on the database located on the master computer which has the software for the device installed. Records are transferred to and from the device with the touch of a button and the software has a very easy to use graphical user interface. The software also allows different users to be programmed such as administrators or regular users who can only view or print reports.

In terms of privacy and security , the fingerprints are encoded in a special encryption on the software , so they cannot be printed or reproduced.

Time attendance reports can be printed or exported to popular file formats such as PDF, Excel and Comma Separated Values which can be interfaced with your current payroll program if you have one.

Question: can these interface with electronmagnetic locks?
as in allow entry/exit upon presentation of the card/scanning fingerprint?

or do they just record time and attendance?

no probs man , and yes they can work with the standard magnetic locks which normally uses a keypad or button . Basically the output from the devices can be used to control anything that may be needed not only a locking mechanism .

what is the price of the residential solution (lock on door)
can this be used as a replacement to the existing lock on a front door to my house? or just as a back up?
will it be tamper proof?

It can replace an exisiting deadbolt lock or added to any door as a biometric deadbolt.

There is a sensor on it ,as any other lock it is tamper proof to some extent, however if someone decides to smash and damage the sensor , the door lock will remain intact until the key override is used to disengage the lock.

They can smash the entire lock from the outside , it will never open unless a key override is used
