Who do you guys recommend from south preferably?
Van was left with some dude from barrackpore, more than a week pass & nothing done. We dont even know if the transmission can be repaired or if it has to be changed yet.

Brand new van from the firm, barely used & transmission gone (what a f**king waste). The guy whom works in the firm has his own garage & usually sorts us out, he diagnosed it as the transmission (also said a lot of the navara's have that same problem too).

2006, 2.5L turbo model btw.

any assistance recommendations welcome.

Guy said he reprogrammed it already (about 3 weeks ago) & the problem persisted.

Started off with trouble to get the van moving in reverse to it jerking when driving & eventually it home & just not moving anymore. Van was wrecked & taken barrackpore.

I know of another 08 model that tranny gone to, thing about this is that the owner use to try his best to "drag race" with it. He always when turning the vehicle before it comes to a stop on reverse slams in drive and floors the pedal.....when first slip on the tranny he took it back to the firm, they tried and couldn't fix it, he sold it now to whoever the poor new owner goner be........

So their is a guy called Winston from Rambert village in La Romaine, i can tell you hands down this guy is one of the best in Trinidad for servicing tranny. He's not the "friendly type" to say ley we drink something after but his biz and garage is one that is designed to work on any vehicle.

Sorry i don't have a number for him but if you know the area you will find him easy!

He rebuilt a transmission on a Prado for me already. The vehicle drove like new after.

You could talk to Joe Bhagwandeen (cell # 290-8967), he could give u some advise. He is the service manager at Mc Enearney motors in pos. Mc Enearney motors deal with Jenton's on Aranguez main road to have their transmission repaired. Even the 2010 hirider has a similar problem.
