hmm well what i was thinking was bringing to stock these items but i can order them in. The Injen CAI is around 3600.00 and the AEM CAI is 3200.00 just pay down a 70% and its 2 1/2 weeks to come in. is it the 1.6 or the 2.0?

i put up this post to see if there is a market for it.

oh cool man...yeh its the 1.6 but all the intakes i been seeing online said its only compatible with the 2.3l which they have in the states, so i was wondering if it could work on the 1.6 mazda 3's which is mainly what we have down here...also is it a noticable performance difference becuz the ones i saw online were costly and adds a decent bit more hp.

yea its around 8hp/ 7lb-ft torque. but its easy to modify the 2.0 CAI though, once the piping can be used. i looked at a 2.0 and 1.6 intake recently its strangely familiar. but if it is impossible to modify, i will try to get JDM CAI.

i tried a AEM for the 2.0 3 on the 1.6 and u get massive hesitation if the car starts at all, i used the simota intake from the 323 on the 1.6 3, in terms of improvement, the car feels smoother and the acceleration has increased slightly...never tried it on the top end yet...

I can get the drilled rotors, the ECU will have to order in from JDM(8 weeks) but the auto may be hard to get.

04-09 RX-8 Stoptech Crossdrilled/Slotted Rotors - $2400.00pr (front), $2400.00pr
(rear).

It will take 2-3 weeks to come in. Just pay 70% down.

I personally like this combination, because the slots increase braking performance while crossdrilled helps with cooling the rotor for less brake fade.
