WTK....sub suggestions

Ok ppl i have a cerwin vega stroker 2000 mono and looking for a single sub either 10 or 12 to match with this mono.....looking for a bass line tuned to around 40hz and sub will be in a wagon so any suggestions will be welcomed...thanks

that amp rated at 1000wrms or 2000wrms & is 1 ohm stable ? ...

rated 1200rms

the dealer riadb had one with this same amp if im not mistaken

Used to have his Wagon pumpin!

as someone suggested before in here, the stroker's are nice subs & will match up to the vega amp. The dealer had a 2000d matched up with a stroker 12" in a fielder wagon & it pounded nicely.
As for the lows part, my definition of low seems to be pretty low so we may have a difference in opinions but i'd still opt to tune a tad bit lower on the enclosure say 36 - 38hz.

Nobody said he has to buy the stroker.

There are plenty subs out here within the 1000watt bracket to choose from. I'm pretty sure price, recommended enclosure size and othe factors will influence his purchases. Judging from the fact that its a streetbeater system he is building (even if it was otherwise) I doubt he can tell the difference in subs from the sound.
