noticed that when the transmission in my D15b reaches 3rd gear that it over revs a bit before the gear goes in...what can cause this?can it be repaired? help guys

you need to replace the tranny. 3500 in the bamboo

Try changing the fluids an see if that helps

i tried a treatment in mine, it really helped, but my problem was when 1st changes to 2nd...

a little trick,

adjust the tranny cable so the gear takes longer to change (changing at a higher r.p.m.) .... this will aso assist your issue...

these are cost effective measures to extend the change out time of your transmission...

first thing, make sure you have enough fluid in it...
if that doesn't work, try flushing out the tranny.

Was happening to mine between 2nd and 3rd...and if i went around a corner while locking to the right, it revved and then sped up. The above worked for me...

Mine only does this occasionally when i now start the car and drive it before it warms up a bit. Strange, but cant afford to sort that out now :x
