problem with my cube bz11 a/c

Postby d_ad_man » April 13th, 2012, 7:37 am

Firstly when i put on the ac,
the indicator by the start switch shows CLEAN(blue light)
after a little while it goes to ION(green light),
what can be causing this?
when i am parked up with my ac on i find that it cycles fast
and sometimes the compressor cuts off and does not come back on
till i switch off for a while.
I need help.
The a/c guy told me to check an electrician as it looks like an electrical problem
The electrician told me to check back the a/c guy because of two things
1: the expansion valve might be bad
2: it probably has too much gas.

you post this in the wrong place....but your a/c guy is a waste of time & your electrician has no clue what is going on with your a/c. find a reputable a/c shop not a man under his house to repair this for you. we should have any parts you should be in need of for the repair.

I know reputable tradesmen who operate under their house.

Most of the time the techs are reputable, as in having a good reputation for doing work cheap but do not use proper industry standard materials & processes. Ask them what is the difference between PAG & ester oil, & which they would recommend for the a/c system. Do your own research, not just take my word for it. We see alot of ppl doing repeat jobs due to these simple things, we sell the parts & we know what is going on & hear the bullsh@t excuses the techs give & the customer has no clue how complicated an a/c system is, no understanding of the different processes & materials. Can't blame them, they are paying for a job, good materials cost money. Just yesterday we sold a Tiida evaporator & the tech told me he is not servicing the a/c system....why? So that customer will be changing a compressor soon.

I want a money tree too!!!

A: This is normal. Every time you turn it on it cleans the ION filter
