Andrew Bynum's 10 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocks Sunday against Denver was more impressive than Kobe's 31

Don't worry about Rondo. That's just playoff spirit. Hopefully he'll be back for game 2 & as sharkman say "Boston in 6"

I think Boston could take Atl as well, and they'd want to make a Eastern Conference Finals run now with Rose injured for Chicago. Analyst believe that Miami is afraid of the of the Boston match up.

That's because every year Pierce makes Bron look smaller than the SF for Detour Shak Attack

interesting cuz pierce and garnett have displayed no signs of aging and affecting their game. PLus we have a nice young core to pull the weight.

better to have a playoff experienced team.

LoL @ Stoudamire

MIAMI – The New York Knicks just couldn’t let a day go by without making headlines.
In the wake of a fairly drama-less loss to the Heat in Game 2 of the first round, Amar’e Stoudemire suffered a laceration on his left hand in the Knicks’ locker room. As was first reported by Yahoo!, he suffered the cut punching the glass enclosure to a fire extinguisher.
Paramedics were called to the locker room, which was kept closed from the media for an extended time. By the time it was opened, only Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony were left to talk.
Anthony pled ignorance, saying he was still on the floor when the incident happened and had yet to see Stoudemire. Chandler was a little more forthcoming.
“It’s tough,” he said. “Your emotions run high. Split second decision can obviously alter things, and you can’t fault anybody. Amar’e is a person that has high emotions at times, so one quick decision-making mistake and now you’ve got to deal with the repercussions.”
Stoudemire was seen leaving AmericanAirlines Arena with a bandage on his hand and his left arm in a sling. He reportedly lost a lot of blood, some of which was seen on the carpet in the locker room. He is traveling back to New York with the team and did not have X-rays taken, according to a team spokesman.
His prognosis for Game 3 (Thursday, 7 p.m. ET, TNT) and the rest of this series is unknown. The Knicks are already without Jeremy Lin, still recovering from knee surgery, and Iman Shumpert, who tore his ACL in Game 1. They’re just getting Chandler back to health, and Baron Davis has been dealing with back pain and stiffness.
This injury, of course, was self-inflicted. And amazingly, it’s the second straight year in which Stoudemire suffered a self-inflicted injury before or after Game 2 of the first round. Last year in Boston, he injured his back doing a dunk in warmups.
“It seems like there’s always something happening,” Anthony said about the drama surrounding his team. “But at this point, it is what it is. We’ve got to move forward.”
The Knicks went 14-5 without Stoudemire in the regular season.

Just finish watching Mavs vs OKC. Good game.

JT with a stupid foul on Durant with 3 seconds on the shot clock probably cost the Mavs the game

Rondo has a known temper issue and probably deserved the 1 game suspension. Word is, this is the very reason most teams are cautious about acquiring him from Boston.

Let's hope the Celtics can dig deep to win tonight. The bench gonna have to step up.

I agree it was a dunce move by Terry to foul Doo-rant but yuh have to wonder why he was guarding him in the first place. I’d rather have the Mavs best defender; Shawn Marion, guarding him. Mavs look like they back to being the Mavs of 2007-2010, otherwise known as the pre-Chandler years.

Pierce dig deep to help the Celtics beat Hawks at home to even the series with an 87-80 victory, expect them to ride this momentum in Boston.

Dallas Mavs are going down. I'm sure Cuban is regretting his trade.

NY has no fight in them left, I expect a sweep.

In happy news, Boston getting Rondo back tonight as they return home to face the Hawks for game 3.

its not only chandler, its a combination of all the changes they made. If you remember, JJ Barea was a hugeee factor in Dallas championship run last season, they miss him terribly IMO. They just seem to lack a couple key players or missing elements needed to make a serious championship challenge.

^Barea had a lot of good moments last year but no way was he worth the $4-5M per year that Minny paid him. Mavs were right to let him go, especially given that they have Beaubois, who looks better than Barea at times, but his problem is his inconsistency.

Cuban let Chandler go so he could chase after Howard. Defensively, Chandler is almost as good as Howard, and with Dirk and Jet around, they had enough offense. I don't like coach killa Deron Williams much, but if the Mavs don't sign him this summer, Cuban will look like a complete idiot.

.

chandler was the anchor of that defense and also an insperation in the locker room he also brought a certain attitude to the mavs which in my oppion i think they lost....and defense wins championships....as miami will show... 8-)
