This would help to explain why the standard of journalism in this country is so poor.

Two media workers have been arrested in connection with an alleged armed robbery.

C News understands that police are investigating an incident involving a cameraman and journalist attached to a leading media house who were in a party of four and posing as police officers.
Reports say the men entered a liquor mart on Range Road, Five Rivers, Arouca around 8:30pm on Sunday and announced a hold up.

The owner was relieved of an unconfirmed sum of cash.

C News was told that a party of officers on patrol noticed a vehicle carrying the logo of a media house and stopped to inquire when four men came running out the mart.

It is reported that a shoot out followed, resulting in one of the alleged bandits being shot. They were all arrested.

Police are said to have recovered ski masks, bullet proof vests and guns.

Anyway, actually my sources tell me the TTPS have been watching him and Brendan for a little while now. It's not the first time he's been caught in this kind of nonsense, but the company chose to overlook it.

Meanwhile, he looking like a star reporter, getting all kinda exclusives when is really HE committing some of the crimes.

Alleyne obviously didn't comment on the matter because he and Akile are friends. I don't recall Alleyne commenting on his family's robbery, Danah's driving debacle and the Sheron's scandal, so I expected as much.

Remember some years ago (possibly close to 8 or 9yrs ago)when Gyasi did the story on how easy it was to get fake police uniforms that looked real, and how most Trinis don't know their own police uniforms enough to spot a fake?
