qg gearbox question

Is it possible to to change the qg gearbox hydraulic system to cable?
i would like to take the engine and gearbox from my almera and transfer it to my b13 .

clutch cylinders can transfer as well. why look into changing it to cable?

Cool ,thanks wagon runner.
I thought cable would be easier to do because most cars that age use it.

Granted. but C32 Laurels take clutch cylinder installs. so everything can.

As Wagonrunner said just transfer everything over pedal,lines an clyinder..

so the clutch pedal and cylinder from the almera will be bolt for bolt on the b13?

Neither the brake nor clutch pedal from the Almera will work in the B13, you need to get a Y10 hydraulic clutch pedal.

how come? the mounting point. if so, can't that be fabricated?

Yes it could be fabricated, but why go through the trouble when there are pedals that work bolt for bolt.
The almera pedals are very different from the B13 ones.

reason i ask is that's the same issue in a C32 with a RB25DET.
any hints?

You could try one from an S or R chassis.

Have one from an S13. top bolt doesn't line up though.

Well you may have to fab up something, I know the S chassis pedals work on the C33, not sure which one is bolt for bolt with the C32 though.
