This car looks like the 1950 Pontiac Silver Streak that was parked up on a house in 12th street Barataria for years. I know the owner died 5 years ago, so I'm sure his brother probably sold the old Pontiac

Saw these beauties over a two week period...I apologize for posting links... for some reason, placing them between img tags gives an error.. Maybe one of the mods can assist?

dredman1 wrote:Not usually one to post in this thread, but I saw a silver Nissan 240Z just before lunch today in amazing condition, registration PT 1120 I believe. Never saw it before.

Saw the hood had some sort of small scoop or vent when he was coming up from behind me. Tried to catch up to him in some light traffic, but he was moving too fast for me (note he wasn't racing, but cruising comfortably) so no pics...

Car looked amazing - very aggressive looking without being overdone. Some large silver (not chrome) wheels. Even had a fairly large (fibreglass or plastic - not aluminum) rear spoiler which was silver as well that suit the aggressive look of the car. Nothing about the car was gawdy looking. Just perfect in my opinion.

The best 240Z I've seen locally. Hats off to the owner if you're reading this.

No problem...I have the video

 that's it right there. Thanks! Quality if the vid doesn't do it justice, but you can still tell it's in fantastic condition. And I guess it really was moving too fast for me, because what I thought was a hood scoop looks to be hood vents.

Still stand by my previous comment - by far the best looking 240Z I've seen locally.

The silver 240 looks OK until you glance at the engine. There is an AWESOME example owned by a friend of mine in Five Rivers, completely stock except for MSD. Will try to get pics......

Spotted one of these in Avocat...looked like a Bel Air from afar. Beautiful machine nonetheless.
