A/C problem: cold to hot then cold again

Did a search but nothing close came up,the vehicle is a ck4 lancer,anytime the air condition is one it is cold for a while (10-15mins) then it immediately goes hot for about the same time or more then cold again.what could be the problem here.

spoke to one guy and he said the expansion cover and blower needs changing..any other suggestions? thanks

I think is expansion valve you referring to.

If your expansion valve is blocked then your A/C should not be working at all. We can test your A/C system & let you know what is wrong & what needs to be done to solve your problem.
