Always wanted to do that swap on my crown I had an Ms122. Rear end, drive shaft, new fuel lines for high pressure fuel, new radiator. You need to get a Centre mounted stump for the 2jz because of the chasis and steering system. Saw a guy use the newer model crown dash also. That's as far as I know from my investigations.

Yea you just need the sump and the oil pickup strainer from a mid mounted 2jz sump setup.

Gs300 non turbo comes with extractors stock, maybe you can look for a set. Even the 1gfe comes stock with extractors.

Yes but the cabe does not open the butterfly fully.....just a few mm. And I guess that will send a position to the ecu and the motor will open the butterfly accordingly. Not sure

Yes that's exactly how it operates. If it is functioning properly once everything is ok with the throttle body components it should open wide once your battery and harness is connected with the ignition on. It will only open a couple degrees only if there is no power at wide open throttle. It was made like that from factory as a fail safe in event the throttle motor is non operational. Wiring for the vvti throttle can be found on http://www.clublexus.com . I hope yours is functioning cause those throttles are a nightmare once they are giving trouble. Buy original OEM toyota parts to fix any throttle issues.

Thanks for the info. This project was kept back due to time issues.
I'm currently looking for and electrician to do the wiring. Any suggestions?
