TD27 is a solid engine but quite heavy compared to a 2/3C so a bit more strain on your front suspension. Installed a 27 in a van I had and handling was a beyotch so I got rid of it. The original Kia engine is lighter. If you are planning to tote heavy loads in the K2700 on a regular basis I guess that will counterbalance load distribution a bit. Which ever you choose just ensure engine has good compression and life before undertaking the swap as all those TD27, 2C etc are a bit old now and consider staying manual.
