After numerous attempts to get Police approval for the staging of this Event, we have been advised that no permission can be granted, since by doing so, the Police will be permitting us to speed on the road and thus break the Speed Limit. Our apologies for all who have patiently waited for the staging of this event, and for all the inconveniences caused, especially those who spent so much time effort energy and money to prepare their cars; not forgetting changing schedules to be able to participate.

The effect was such that spectators rushed on to the roads and racing had to be stopped after the second race. So great was their passion for seeing the streets of San Fernando alive with the glorious sound of full race machines at full throttle.

Team Trinidad sets off to participate in this weekend’s Digicel Williams International Circuit Racing Event which starts a new chapter for BARL.
Three of our more experienced Racing drivers will be representing Trinidad and Tobago and competing at the Bushy Park Barbados Racing Circuit this weekend of 28th and 29th August 2010, at their International Event which will see over eighty cars from Jamaica, Guyana, UK, Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago.

The Advanced Driving School & Time Attack event held at Larry Gomes Stadium on Shouter Baptist day was a test run with the view of making this event a part of the Arima Borough Day festival in August 2010 as requested by the Mayor of Arima, Alderman Ardian Charles Alderman Charles was present at the event and was introduced to all the competitors.
