The Trinidad & Tobago Karting Association TTKA kicked off their 2011 Championship Season with some modifications made to their 2010 circuit track layout at ARC car park in Arima, most notable of which is the new chicane at the eastern end. Rain caused a late start but racing ran like clockwork and all events were run off before sunset. Earlier races suffered from standing water on the track causing a few more spills and thrills than usual but the water quickly dried up enough that the last few races were run on slicks.
