Every year around the middle of May, the Diesel Boyz veterans get giddy with excitement for they know, our Annual Icacos Run is upon us. Usually done the 3rd weekend in the month (due to the chief photographer/instigator heading to Barbados for their International rally), the Icacos Run became an instant hit from the very first run.

Diesel Boyz – Fishing Pond to Manzan Run

It’s that time again where we close our eyes and point to a spot on a map of Trinidad. The destination, Fishing Pond, a quiet little village on the east coast of Trinidad situated on the outskirts of Sangre Grande. With the whole gang finally together at the Wallerfield intersection to Cumuto, we were off and encountered the strangest thing, a heavy rain shower. The peak of the dry season, serious water restrictions and we are driving in pouring, bucket –ah-drop rain. Go figure.

Diesel Boyz – Brasso Seco Run

It’s the first Diesel Boyz run for 2010 and the location chosen was Brasso Seco. Now some of you may not know where that is but may have seen it already. If you ever fly from Tobago and look out the window and see a small isolated village nestled in a valley within the Northern Range, but don’t know where that is, you’ve just passed over Brasso Seco.
