Re: New Vehicle Prices In Trinidad & Tobago 2016

A lot of y'all are mixing up led DRL's with LED headlights ..... My 2 cents. LED headlights are usually an option and only standard on fairly expensive cars. So basically the only car offering LED headlights is the Audi A4. All the other cars mentioned have LED DRLs. No mix up pal. The cars I said ...

Re: New Vehicle Prices In Trinidad & Tobago 2016

Thank you j.o.e I was just about to chime in on that LED lights vs. LED drls. LED headlamps will be optional for quite a while the electronics required for making them work effectively as headlights is quite expensive. On another note the new Sportage front end is ghastly especially that quad fog th...

Re: New Vehicle Prices In Trinidad & Tobago

Since Mazda ditched their partnership with ford they back to being reliable. New skyactive engines, transmissions and design in general is really holding up. Saw a vid where a german team broke down a CX-5 after 100K km's and looked at the every part. Their conclusion was that it was built to last....

Re: WTK: BMW idrive coding/programming

I can now actually do the coding if you are interested. Tested and works on BMW F30 3 series. Note I have not explored on the E9x series and will not be able to do coding on BMWs from that time.

Tyre Shops for runflats

Anyone care to offer advice on shops for changing runflats. Had to change out 2 on the F30 already due to the dreaded pothole goose eggs on those Goodyear Efficientgrip that it comes with. Those are notorious for goose eggs after some research online. I brought down my own replacements from Pirelli ...

Re: SHOW OFF UR EURO

Wow it really has been over a year! 328i and 320i have the same N20 engine though so it not that special anymore. Actually that same engine thing had me wondering a while back if you could get a F30 320 to output the same power as the 328 with a software tweak. As far as I know even the turbo is the...

Re: Swift Sport Pod Filter install Questions...

Re: wtk Suzuki swift sport ride quality + lowering springs

Ok I have no information for you regarding the drop springs as I don't have them installed on my swift sport. Which version do you have ZC31 or ZC32? I have the 31 and yes it is a little stiff as a result of the suspension setup. I'm sure its nothing you cannot get used to as you are coming from car...

Re: Pros and Cons of new 1.4 tsi Jetta

I wouldn't worry about a clutch replacement bill anytime soon unless the clutch has a serious defect. If they built to last 300,000 km that's about 8-10 years worth of driving. How often people with manuals change their clutches? I drive a manual swift sport as a daily driver. @90000 km in abt 3 ye...

Getting back to the Focus price range $219k base - 249k "fully loaded" hatch, sedan and wagon have similar prices. Comes with a NA 1.6 and DSG. I heard word of the 1.6 Ecoboost coming to Trinidad which is something to look forward to. I also heard that the new fiesta should be coming with ...

The F30 leg room in the front is a little less they sacrificed a little for the rear in comparison to the E90. Yes the car is longer and maybe a hair wider hasn't lost any agility with that lengthening... trixy Germans. Neexis I'm not entirely sure what that is other than heat shielding. Haven't dug...
