Re: Tech thread- Suzuki Vitara/ Grand Vitara

I have the same issue with my 2008 Grand Vitara. Recently changed the sway bar link arms and bushings. Still hearing the noise. I will check the shock mount next. If anyone knows of any alternative in the San Fernando area for servicing besides the firm PM me.

Hopefully the service may improve as those guys share their techniques in customer service. R...

Fumes while AC on

Anyone ever experienced fumes coming in through the air condition vent after a hard acceleration. This happens sometimes for a short period of time even though the vents are closed and the unit is on AUTO circulation mode. It tends to have a slightly burnt scent. I normally clear the scent by depres...

Almera problem

The filter is easy to change. There is a fuse that prevents the engine from tumbling in the fuse box just under your dash on the driver's side. I can't remember if its a 10A or 15A. 16's - 17's are safe homey. Any bigger and you'll have bigger problems. Don't let anyone trick you into buying 20's for bling. Salesmen say anything to sell their product. Be smart and save yourself a lot of money. 0X

Check your mounting rubbers, steering linkage, axle and suspension. May cost some money but hey no solution ever comes cheap. At least you learn something new in the end. If your mechanic did not check all of these stuff before aligning get rid of him. Only quacks align without checking to see whats...

 I'm assuming that you're driving a nissan sylphy or an almera with a QG18. If this is so those vehicles are too light to be running more than 180 ks with unless it drop on the ground and have a CNG tank in d trunk. Any other way and you looking to buy ah coffin horse!
