That part is inside the hinge... it goes in between the pin and the hinge itself

you can get almost ANY and do mean ANY part for the old model jimny/sammy online... At really good prices too.. Even OEM Suzuki parts... I got OEM front bearing hubs (brand new) for 50US for one verses 1500TT at lifestyle... OEM engine mounts at 20US for the pair verses 300TT for one.. The g13 engin...

Yup.. gt4tified is correct.. once the transmission in good order then you good to go.. The 1.3 engine is extremely easy to maintain and it seldom gives any trouble..

The suzuki samurai has the same engine so parts easy to get.

cool... that should hold out for the while...

I've heard that a distributor cap from a mazda 323 (not sure which model or year) works as a replacement.. Maybe you can look into that...

no.. the swift gs has the SOHC engine.. If my memory serves me correct.. the distributors are different.. can you post a few pics of your distributor?...

you should also be able to get the rotor and cap online..

yup it the same rtv you would use for the seals... its a temporary fix..

but I think that steel epoxy or plastic epoxy would be a better fix.. but still a temp fix..


the lil conductor thingy that's hanging there.. Is it loose??

you just need to get a new cap and rotor... for the while you can seal it off with silicone or steel epoxy..

the wind shield from the swift gs will fit, but the wind shield from the gl or glx (4 door version) won't.. the gs and gti share the same body parts, more or less.. interior parts like door panel may be different due to power and non powered windows.. gearbox input shaft oil seal part number 24151-7...

the g13ba in my samurai came with rtv silicone on the oil pan, from the factory...

Will there be any water crossing?? My front axle is leaking at the felt pads, which is suspect is due to inner axle seal failure.. Hoping the rebuild kit reaches before the 18th..

Check Deans in Diego Martin.... They have skyjacker and calmini shocks.. $500 each..
