I heard from a few ppl before that when they go to purchase products from dealers they are forced to go by the recommended installers in order to get warranty. These said installers then charge you exorbitantly, are these installers qualified? Is it fair to the consumer? I know of a few US companies...

Unfortunately they owe me money from an order placed a while back. From what I was told by the CEO is that all his staff walked out on him one by one after the manager messed up really bad. They owe lots of customers money, plus products that was never shipped and people who sent products for repair...

Once soldered properly, just spray or paste with liquid tape (best insulation) then heat shrink or tape off for a neat finish. Works like a charm everytime.

These "cheaper" brands are not that bad, as said above 80% install & 20% equipment. You ever notice how the expensive brands give you full documentation on how to install & tune? Im sure if these high end brands end up in a ghetto installer hands it will sound like crap. I guess it...
What about Ports WRT to this topic, Lets say you using 2 subs in 1 enclosure do you use 2 ports? or multiply the port area x 2 and make it 1 port? As stated above if 1 sub alone is playing it affects the tuning not only with the air space behind it but also the type of port being used.
