Anyone can tell me how long a d40 takes to warm up on mornings. I find mines takes a while before the needle reaches the halfway mark. After I start i normally let warm up for approx 3 minutes, the needle does still be at cold mark. I have to drive for another 4 mins to reach the half mark. Is this ...
Anyone ever had trouble with the d40 turbo boost solenoid. I know it supposed to be pulsing but mines sending vacuum to the actuator all the time (boost all the time). Its not stuck cause i replaced it with a new one, and still doing the same thing.

So I'm having some knocking issues with my D40 engine, it starts ok but as i start to drive, the engine knocks like if tappets were making noise. It lasts for a few minutes and then gets quiet. Only happens on cold start. Comments/suggestions anyone?
