Yup. Sure did.

They are REALLY impressive in terms of output. They played strong down to 50Hz. I couldn't determine how high they were playing.

Re: Small Car audio build--(Sq)--rebuild time

Your system has way more midbass output than mine. That output was really impressive. Your treble is a lot more relaxed too. Mine would be considered 'bright' compared to yours.

I think you should definitely try 3 way. You'll love it.

Not selling.

Was willing to trade up if the OP wants to downsize and we can work something out.

If not, I'm good with mine.

Incredible sub.

I have the W12GTi MKii. Ported as well. 2.1 cubes at 30Hz

If by chance you want the 12 for space and weight considerations, let me know.

If I was in that situation,

I'd run it at 1ohm, more power is always a good thing. I doubt you would discern the difference in damping factor. I know I won't be able to.

Re: Centre image too wide

You're running the fronts actively?

I would TA the mid and tweet separately even though TA really does not work on tweeters. Also try L-R EQ if that's available to you.

I've had dead on center imaging with door mids and sail panel tweeters before.

Re: Where the best place to buy Roofing Materials

Just bumping this post. I need a contact for a roofing installer. Got quotes from a few suppliers, lifetime, roofman and roof systems. Roofman has the best prices so far (specified pvdf, standing seam, radiant barrier etc so everybody quote basically the same thing) I'll check roof mechanics, Varma...

I bought a sheet of egg crate foam (open cell) at Furniture Plus in San Fernando, about three years ago. I believe it was about $150.

You can try them.

Re: Advice with sq install

How about, you use the two 2 channel amps you have on the front stage, put the focals on deck power , and maybe consider putting the midrange high up on the dash or pillar, on axis.

So use the woofers on one amplifier and then the mid and tweeter on the other amplifier.

Big up to PCU 7118. Red Hyundai Elantra. Your car isn't a racecar. All that stupid driving and you ended up one car length behind eventually.

Hope that WHEN you wrap it around a pole, that the children are not in the backseat.

Big up to PCJ 277, Mazda CX7, Kizuna Kraft stickered.

Good job bumpering people on the highway and refusing to go to the left lane, even when it was clear.

You did an even better job slamming into the back of the Vigo just 1 minute after you passed me. Now you know better.

Re: Mod Japan deck for local radio stations

The top screen will not accept any video input from any aftermarket HU. Ask anyone who has removed theirs. There are several connections to it.

Hence, it gonna be a rel pain, if not impossible, to use it for a reverse camera etc.

Re: Mod Japan deck for local radio stations

The screen is linked to the head unit, but not the HVAC. There is no composite video input or anything like that. There are about 3 connections between the screen and the HU.

I think your best bet is to change the HU and buy a separate screen to replace the OEM one.
