Re: New Vehicle Prices In Trinidad & Tobago

Good morning I need some advice please. I like three vehicles, the ASX, the SPORTAGE & TUSCON. What I want to know is which one best all round. I'm looking for good fuel consumption, great handling, cargo space, comfort and power. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. WRT comfort and power, ...

Re: New Vehicle Prices In Trinidad & Tobago

Yeah but lower speced luxury cars just don't seem that luxurious as 4 motion said. It ain't luxury if the spec is the same as a corolla I think people get mixed up between luxury and premium. Audi, Merc, BMW etc are premium car makers, that also produce luxury cars. This means the "lowly"...

Re: Ford Fiesta Review in TT

Just bumping this post with a response.... we have a 2013 Fiesta sedan. Unfortunately the verdict on the car has been largely negative, not just from the issues that have occurred (but can happen with any car), but the dealer's response... or lack thereof... to addressing the problems. Issues experi...

Rollback tray cover rant

so I have a tray cover on my Navara that I purchased in October 2013, from some place in Cunupia that "imports fenders" or something so. In under 6 months the rubber seal cracked up and started to come off... took it back and they charged me for a replacement seal :x The pic below was take...

Re: NEW VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

it's replacing the Bluebird Sylphy in most markets that had it, especially in right hand drive since apparently RHD production ended.

Only Russia, China and a handful of LHD markets will continue getting a slightly facelifted Sylphy

Re: NEW VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

The terms "super" and "premium" are globally subjective. In countries where a lot of our vehicles are manufactured, super is 95RON or even more, and premium can be as high as 102RON. Ignore this super and premium nonsense and pay attention to the actual RON number . If it says 95...

Re: NEW VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

Juke is a Joke. It's right up there with Hyundai Matrix and Nissan Versa for worse looking vehicle on the road. I beg to differ. I personally find BMWs hideous or boring, but then there'll be an army of people who would argue otherwise. Bottomline, looks will always be subjective. The Juke is certa...

Re: NEW VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

The i30 price, though laughable (as is the case with most new cars here), isn't that bad, all things considered equal. A Civic and Impreza for instance are both in that price bracket and do not have half of those features. As for shifting them off of the showroom floor, cinco I don't know where you ...

Re: NEW VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

At what point are finance companies going to start requesting valuations for NEW cars also? I think it's more than needed given the ludicrous prices these days. Not to mention, should the borrower default, the financier does not stand a good chance at recovering all of their money since the used car...

Re: NEW VEHICLE PRICES IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

boxy I get that, and to be honest, with this government, as far as roads go in the northwest, I see our tax dollars working. There's constant maintenance unlike the rushed, near-election jobs of previous governments. But be this as it may, I still don't agree with taxing cars to the hilt if the tra...

uh, I cannot believe a raging debate is going on about "affordable" small cars with good performance/handling and no one mentioned the Ford Fiesta! It's priced at 150K, is the best handling car in the segment (on par or better than the Mazda 2), has a full compliment of safety features inc...

gooner, I'd say you probably got bad gas period, and it has nothing to do with it being super vs premium. We have ours for 11 months now with no issues to speak of. Runs exclusively on super (owner's manual advises RON91 gas or higher, so local super at RON92 is perfect) and never had any of the iss...

Fiat Bravo has 1.4T you can get $170k, N&M can hold their "hot hatch" For 170K, you're only getting the 120hp version. Sterling could keep that slow-poke. I'd faster buy an elantra/koup/upcoming swift sport for for just a hint more (each putting out >130 hp with better mpg), and get m...
