Re: Pedestrian knocked down under El Socorro walkover

The car in front of the RX8 swerved to avoid him. The RX8 driver could not see him before the lead car swerved. The RX8 hit him and launched him onto the Tiida.

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes

Sanctifier, I don't know the whereabouts of Tom's terrapin or the parts. I do know that when Peter Morris bought Tom's Metro Mini, it was running an Arden alloy 8 port cylinder head. But that head dropped a valve and was badly damaged, don't know if it was ever replaced. The Metro is slowly turning ...

Re: Datsun 720 rear diff disc brakes conversion - help

Re: Datsun 720 rear diff disc brakes conversion - help

Firstly, you need to know what rotors and calipers you are going to use. Handbrake cables would be a plus if you can get them with the calipers.
Red Dawg Racing can machine and redrill the axles to your desired bolt pattern and we can make the bracket to mount the calipers.

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes

What formula specification is the car being built to? The car was originally built in 1973 to compete in the Caribbean Formula Championship. We havent really deviated from that design. It was originally designed in England back in the 1960s as a sprint and hill climb car and does not really subscri...

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes

question: why was square section steel used instead of circular hollow section? This car was originally built in 1972 out of 7/8 inch hollow section and as MG Man says, it is easier to cut and join square section tubing. most tube frame cars use square tubing....easier to cut and join That being sa...
