Re: tyres

Importing isn't that bad. Discount tires is a great place to purchase especially when they have rebate offers. I just received a debit card with $100US rebate from Discount tires for purchasing a set of continentals contact sport in 18s. Tires cost $620 before rebate. With rebate that was $520. Pret...

Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

Agreed. Efficiency as it relates to flow is of the utmost importance with exhaust gases. If I go thru with it..I'll post pics and update the group as I progress.

Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

Youre right aps had a ts EWG design, and there have been some mention that the pulses from the exhaust gases needs to be separate. However I've also seen discussion that the pipes exiting the uppipe once measured correctly and can indeed merge at 1 wastegate without any issues (few ppl on nasioc hav...

Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

If someone locally can indeed do a ts uppipe weld I may look into it...I've read posts indicating that one will need 2 wastegates to properly benefit from an ts EWG system. I've however also seen ppl try it with 2 pipes exiting the ts uppipe leading to 1 wastegate. I prefer the latter option. I may ...

Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

One of the reasons I've been contemplating going ss so as to benefit from an EWG system that would be much cheaper than staying ts. If I could find a cheapish option of doing a uppipe EWG build I would def jump on it. Nice info guys

Aye Lance do you think that the billet wastegate actuator will hold boost just a but longer? I've read that it's not really an upgrade from the stock per say unless the stock has issues with holding boost.
