Re: Guardian Media says T&T is a country spiralling out of control

Trinidadians in general have the "pass the buck " mentality, very rarely do you see people admitting fault and taking the blame for their mistakes and shortcomings...……….. That mentality is a by-product of lack of accountability. France, Hong-Kong and Puerto Rico showing us what we need t...

Re: The 2019 Murder Toll Ched

How many convictions for murder since last year? Would it be correct to assume that we could have up to 800 murders roaming freely (500 last year + 300 this year)? Or that at the beginning of last year we had 800 criminal gangsters roaming freely? Come on Minister of National security, lets see you ...

Re: Leaving Trinidad for good...

Nice to read some personal experiences. This is very helpful for those of us on the fence. The decision to migrate gets harder the older you get IMHO. Everyone who I spoke to about migrating is doing it for their children..... little or no future here for them. Very sad! IMHO those who are staying h...

Re: Boy, 4, dies after being trapped in school bus

I hear that the mother said she wakes him at 4am because she has to be out the house by 6am. Also he had the cold so she gave him cough medicine. Musbe the drowsy type. In a small bus you would see the whole bus from the driver's seat. You not thinking a child could be hidden behind a seat and sile...

Re: Boy, 4, dies after being trapped in school bus

IMHO, the driver is responsible for ensuring all doors are shut before driving off, all limbs stay inside when the vehicle is in motion and all persons who enter the vehicle, leave the vehicle especially when dealing with small children. Training is absolutely necessary for certain jobs!

Re: Would you be comfortable with an air conditioner that uses a highly flammable refrigerant?

Depends But something to note is that we have tanks of gas in our kitchens with a flame at the end, seems more unsafe than an AC unit So as long as the mechanics are VERY well done and installed, there shouldn't be a problem Do you leave the gas to your stove on while you sleep? Electrical connecti...

Re: Bomb threats against Catholic schools

Well unless it was an elite hacker, an email would make tracing it so much easier. Unless it was typed out on Microsoft Word and delivered to the school with claims that it came from a email address that doesn't exist. Then half the country would believe it was true, and the police wouldn't act on ...

I will not support any group who says "since that's the way the world seemed to be going" as the main argument for anything to happen. No one is asking you to be a lemming, but instead maybe just make an informed decision based on the facts laid out towards you? Fossil fuels are harming t...

I will not support any group who says "since that's the way the world seemed to be going" as the main argument for anything to happen. I don't see the issue anyway since I would think the reason for encouraging a hybrid vehicle is to reduce our carbon footprint, an engine size > 1599cc wou...
