Re: Flow Internet Thread

An update on my NAT type 3 issue: After calling FLOW around 20 times for about a period spanning 5 weeks, someone finally got back to me yesterday after I expressed my frustration with the problem THEY created. The CSR yesterday was very helpful and he explained that my package was definitely the pr...

Right so update got it sorted out with a actual proper rep that understands My package was the old 75meg which was a shared IP address.. Fix for it was to finally give in and take the 100meg package which gives me a public IP address and boom everything working like butter again... That's 100% true...

Re: Flow Internet Thread

I can definitely say it's nothing with equipment because I called Flow and spoke to a CSR that admitted they switched from a public IP to a private one for security and stability issues. He said that port forwarding / dmz will no longer work on my package but he still sent my issue up the line.

Re: Should Venezuelan refugees be allowed to live in T&T?

I appreciate the fact that some of us here are trying to promote a society of unity and collaboration but many if not most of those immigrants are displacing locals from jobs by underselling themselves. I know it comes down to the business owner's cost and cheaper is better for him but many locals a...

Re: Should Venezuelan refugees be allowed to live in T&T?

Trinidad has become a Free For All. Chinee, Venee, Guyanee and don't forget them Up the Island ones that the PM allow.

If it were the other way around would Trinis have that freedom?

Re: UTT B.A.Sc / B. Eng / B. Tech a load of BS?

Another subtle way that companies say that they don't want a UTT degree for an engineering position is that when a vacancy arises for an Engineer, their first requirement is a B.Sc in the decipline. NOT a B.A.Sc

...And who offers a B.Sc in engineering? That's right - Only UWI.

Re: UTT B.A.Sc / B. Eng / B. Tech a load of BS?

OK let me say this: I know for a fact that several of the major companies in Pt. Lisas do not accept UTT degrees for engineering positions. One particular company actually sent out an internal memo stating that these UTT degrees in engineering is not recognized.

Lol, thanks for the replies but I would really like to hear from people who has completed the degree or know of someone who did.

It's amazing that these degrees are even being allowed to continue knowing very well that there is little to no opportunity for the grads.

I want to hear from actual graduates or co-workers of graduates from such degrees. As far as I know, none of the major companies in the oil and gas, po...

Sorry to resurrect an ancient thread but I have a question about Skrill.

I have about $50us in a Skrill account but I am not sure how to actually convert it to cash. I have an RBL Visa card and a PayPal account. Can I use any of them?

Re: Pressure Washer Pump Seals?????

I am not afraid to take it apart to attempt a repair. Problem is I am not sure which seals I need to change. I only saw one damaged in the pump chamber where the water passes but there is no oil there. Where exactly is the oil for the pump?

@pete. By 256k I assume you are talking about an EDGE connection right? Now with this HSPA+ connection, I get a connection of ab...
