No, not unless u change the entire unit. I got a used one from eBay UK for less than $500 TTD landed. Changed it out myself.

Anyone use 5W 30? This is highly recommended in manual.

At 166k and over 5 years, car still works well. Had to replace my radiator and ac fans, didn't buy from LSM, got a replacement on amazon that's been going strong for about 2 years. Replaced brake shoes which I got off either amazon or eBay. Installed rear spoiler and increased tire size to 215 60 16...

Used Mobil ATF 3309 as recommended. However will eventually change to Amsoil, after i run this for about 20k.

I found some more recent reviews (2012) on the Firestone FR380 which rates it pretty good.

I have the same cracking and noise problem with Nexen...will never buy again. Can anybody tell me where I could get 4 215 65/60 R16 Dunlops? Call all over no dunlop in those sizes, most places have Nexen/roadstone and Triangle. Also considering Firestone... any reviews?

i have a sx4 m16a - is that different to the swift m16a, with respect to threading on the filter? coz from the first post it stated that the swift m16a uses 18 x 1.5 if the filter is 3/4 x 16 thats supposed to be much easier to find especially online, wouldn't it? On the metal tag in the engine bay of the sx4 the type is YA21S.

Research is showing that this is equal to the M15A engine, is this true??

Always presumed it to be M16A. Which is it?

Gettin some very slight squeaking from the wagner pads after 3 mnths. They are low on dust but will try another brand next time around. Any suggestions??

86k....As I said, the car got some roughin up on those roads...the wiper fluid motor had leaks at the seals, so they changed the entire unit under warranty! I have 5 months to make 3 years owning the car.

Car drives almost like new, but it is expensive to maintain and it is small.
