If i am not mistake the 500 series dd is like the American bass DX and OX subs the XD is 500rms and they come in d2 and d4 both brands are great well design and play very loud i will say it will be up to the installer and how best he/she applies any of the two brands and the power used.

Once the current supply is good on the vehicle but the amps are stable st .5ohms
There are vehicles competing rite now at .5 ohms and some daily playing vehicles also.
At the end of the day once u do the rite thing u wouldn't have any problems.
