Thanks purple_heart and ecotune, ill look for the canbus compatible leds.
Ecotune still want to come for a remap......had the car 1 week and cacahole hit it finally got it back after a couple mths waiting on parts and insurance. I love my skoda

Thanks for the info Pointman....let me pick your brain again.......Do the skodas use canbus system? I want to upgrade the head light bulbs to LED but not sure if i need to get the canbus compatible type

any advice would be appreciated. I recently got a PCL Octavia FSI and the radio info display lcd is crap. What can i do? is the LCD replaceable? or the entire display? any part numbers? Tried searching on Skodaparts .com but not seeing it.

I made in Triniland..........I really thought about it, should I risk my life for a tire $30 less.I was too frighten so I went with the Kumhos and they have a decent review on tire rack . com......There are also some major recalls in the US of chinese tyres. Thanks for the info

decided to go with some Kumhos from Ramgoolies in curepe, tires wouldn't make it back home or even to central...........interrestingly the kumhos and nexen are all "made in china"

Saw one or two with the Trini flag on it That looked good and today saw one of the euro style with a larger font nearer to the legally prescribed size. You could also get your springs re done by Corbin in the Croisee. Don't know the metallurgy aspect of what is done but many have reccomended him for problems of insufficient ride height and load capacity...note not performance.....cost about $300, my problem is rear ride height in L touring but didn...

Happened to me with "rounded off" wheel locks, visited the muffeler shop and they quickly and simply burned it off with the torch , no damage to the rims and simply replace the burnt off stud after.

Just to confuse the issue more, when you have remote start and an immobiliser, whether part of an alrm system or tracking system like car search, car trax etc,....wouldn't the remote start bypass the immobilisers points of control (starter, ignition fuel pump whatever) therby making them useless?

Thanks alot, Trinidad Hose is rong de corner from me.

It is a stock l touring that the mech put a cone filter on, but he tried to secure it directly to the intake hose which is flexible so it keeps falling off, i need something stiffer to extend the intake hose and clamp the filter to.
