Re: The | Apple Inc.  | Thread

I stuck with 16G ram, but I went to the best processor on the 13. I really need it for some complex math modelling for my research. My 2013 MBP does quite a good job, but it's pretty much EOL and I'll give it to the wifey. Still get about 3 hours of video play on the battery which is stellar on a 6+...

Re: Coronavirus - COVID-19 - 326 cases, 8 deaths, 179 active, 139 discharged in T&T

Because there is no vaccine, a lockdown is only a temporary plaster unless we fundamentally change the way we interact and become more responsible (mask/sanitize/distance etc). Unless we change our behaviour, any time a lockdown is eased there will be a surge in cases. Do you need the government to ...

Re: The | Apple Inc.  | Thread

So after looking at tons of YouTube reviews from the techies I can’t decide whether I should buy the MacBook Pro 16 inch for 4K video editing (heaviest task) or to wait on new ARM MBPs. My thinking is that Apple won’t restrict software updates for maybe 7 years with the current Intel-based processo...

What about Gary Griffith for the leader of UNC? Moneylall , panday, vasant etc none of them will be able to grow the party from outside of its base in south and central. None of them will be able to win crucial east west corridor seats like st Joseph and tunapuna. Griffith clearly has an agenda by ...

Hello friends, Elections is now over. Let us all remember that we are still in a pandemic. It is quite disturbing to know that for elections 2020, i have noticed that almost the entire country let their guard down. There was little to no social distancing and inconsistent wearing of masks. Even in ...

A vote for PEP: Wasted vote, or a way to signal dissatisfaction with the decades of red and yellow crap / corruption / mismanagement / incompetence? A vote cast could never be a vote wasted. Just my opinion Yup. I might not agree with some parties, but I have nothing against people voting for them....

It depends on the situation/context/budget. If it's your kid, and the school supplies (including laptop, workspace etc) are covered, a gift is supposed to be something that they would hold on to for a long time, or start them in a new subchapter of their lives - help them find a new hobby or talent ...
