Custom Pistons Rings

Does anyone know where I can order custom piston rings? I have sleeved a block and while the OEM pistons are good the rings will not work on the steel sleeves. Looking for an alternative that can be used on the steel sleeve. Anyone know a company that does this? Next option is forged pistons but did...

Re: Old School Projects

Still looking for someone to handle some stuff. I don't mind if it takes some time (month or two) once he is working on it and does a quality job. I have some firewall patchwork, note the chassis number is not located in the vicinity, front flooring from a battery leaking, trunk pockets and small ar...

Re: Old School Projects

Hi there, anyone can recommend someone that can do go metal flooring work? Want to borrow a pair of E60 headlights to align the front of a vehicle that is currently at the shop. Any help is appreciated as we are at the stage just to align and then send to paint. Re: R.I.P. Steve aka Helmet aka Turbo Taxi

Wow just last week I was speaking to a friend and his name came up.

My mechanic said Steve passed last week as well to check him. When the creator is ready I guess. Hope things are in place for his wife and daughter.

Condolences to the entire family and tuner friends.

Re: Project GTiR SR20VET Road and Circuit

It was a direct boltup, my setup may a bit different using a hydraulic release bearing, but on the flywheel side as far as I remember there were no issues You may want to double check that. The GTi-R uses M11 flywheel bolts, all other SR20 use M10. I see in the picture that twin clutch was actually...

Re: Project GTiR SR20VET Road and Circuit

I'm really interested in seeing the details of how you mounted those rear calipers and exactly what hubs you're using. I know TDMi and Stracher both make 5 lug conversions, but yours don't look new, did you take them off another car? Did you ever get a response to your question or find out what he ...

Newsday reporter Joan Rampersad asked permission to put the story up to increase the audience and awareness. http:/...

Re: Support from my Tuner Family

Thanks my extended family, it has been a big reason for my absence on Tuner. The situation has taken a toll on my entire family, more so my wife, having to stop working and see about baby daily. Hopefully the funds can be raised and from there by the end of this first treatment he should have a redu...

Re: Project GTiR SR20VET Road and Circuit

Mechanic did the setting up of the FMIC, manifold is not local but had to be modified for my application as I am running a/c. Wastegate plumbing had to be rerouted. Jimmy does all pipe welding for me. I just gave some of it some elbow grease after but when all is done it will be done over again.

Re: Project GTiR SR20VET Road and Circuit

The Grey S15 was rear ended and repainted in Blue, the R32 is still down but not out. Once the GTi-R is complete and I can find some finances I will get her up and running. It needs to have the rear quarters glasses removed and some rust fixed and then get some other areas blasted and treated and to...
