Both 1kd and 2kd are belt driven The van in the pic is 2kd (no bonnet scoop, no intercooler) Thought thoes were 1KD. Only the 3.0L had bonnet scoop. the previous 2.5l and 2.7 L Gas had a flat bonnet. Just an FYI the last 3.0L was in the late TCR series. The new 2.4 and 2.8L models have no scoop I b...

Beauty is definitely in the eyes of the beholder...

How is air getting to the radiator to cool this thing.
The engine also appears tilted(clocked) way forward from the original angle that k series engines normally come from the factory. Does this affect lubrication any.

The only thing i have not done yet with the vehicle, is to service the injectors. The jerking is constant, as mentioned a transmission specialist checked the vehicle (said the transmission was working perfectly), no faults shown via the scan while parked or while driving, the problem was happening ...

All reputable brands are good. It's the ones that I've never heard about before I'm a bit cautious about. Thick (high viscosity oil) vs Thin (low viscosity oil) is tough to differentiate as you meet in the middle (because of variations of opinion) but easier to identify at the extremes. 10w30 might ...
