Re: Speed guns in effect in Trinidad & Tobago

You realize I using that dumb argument to draw out a point about Arrive Alseep statistics with Habit right? I agree your argument dumb but I am still not seeing your point neither your claimed scientific backing. My statement has the same bogus "scientific" backing as arrive alseep has fo...

Re: What is the PNM's plan for the economy?

Nah nah nah horse .... They clearly stated "THE International Monetary Fund (IMF) is forecasting an economic turnaround in Trinidad and Tobago next year. And it is basing that forecast, not primarily on better oil and gas prices or production but on its confidence in the Government." the ...

Re: What is the PNM's plan for the economy?

You cannot dip into the HSF when you want, the conditions has to be present and it can only be done in the following year. You cannot forecast to use HSF money beyond a year. Yes they have confidence in the govt's tight fiscal policies and the growth in the energy sector, not in spending HSF money a...

Re: What is the PNM's plan for the economy?

Still don't see the correlation between attempting to balance the budget and somehow go from -2 to +2 percent growth in a year. Also our public debt is now at much higher levels ... again not blaming the PNM alone here some of it is inherited. This is a forecast for next year. Public debt must be h...

Re: IF UNC win EBC case, what happens, or SHOULD happen?

if the UNC won all the way to the Privy Council it would probably be mid-term in the current PNM administration, should they go back to the polls in the contested seats they'd probably lose again and that wouldn't auger well for the 2020 polls. IMO this is a nuisance suit intended to help the UNC s...

Even with autopilot on a plane, the pilot still has to be observant. Autopilot on a Tesla doesnt mean you can go asleep behind the wheel.

Re: Government achievement thread.

Given the state of the economy my only expectation is to keep things solvent and avoiding collapse. Hopefully be a little more prudent and efficient with public expenditure and deal with more systemic issues that will have longer term benefits. For too long governments past were into the short game...

Re: Government achievement thread.

If the agriculture minister said that they would be moving in January 2016 and six months passed, he must account.

However that building like others were rushed for the 2015 election and didn't have all the appropriate approvals.
