I need to get a driver's side wing mirror for 2013 Hilux. Chrome with indicator. TTTL has none. No luck in bamboo. Any help?

Re: TT$1000 ticket for using turbo timer

the turbo timer is usually wired so that it shuts off when the parking brake is released. has nothing to do with transmission. if someone tries to steal the vehicle while the timer is running, the engine will cut off as soon as they release the parking brake to drive off. if they choose to drive wit...

Re: The | Apple Inc.  | Thread

I have a late-2013 MBP Retina 13-inch. This morning the fans came on at startup and sounds like at full rpm and won't shut off. I have never heard the fans come on like this before. After searches online, I have tried resetting the SCM as many people suggest but nothing has worked thus far. Activity...

Russian Spacecraft to hit Earth tomorrow?

After a failed resupply mission to the International Space Station last week, a Russian Progress cargo ship that spun out of control is expected to reenter the atmosphere and crash to Earth Friday. Or, what's left of it anyway. Progress 59 launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan April 2...

Re: Painting chrome (DIY)

Vex, why would it cost a couple hundred? Should be far less than 100 from the list you gave. If you really calculated a couple hundred then maybe you should just have it powder coated at Panland in Laventille. I had a chrome roll car powder coated there some years ago for ~$300 and your nudge bar sh...

Re: Tech Thread - Toyota Hilux...D4D and all older models.

Because of the body mount right behind the front tyres on this model Hilux, no matter how much lift you put, you're limited to just under a 33" tyre without having rubbing issues or having to alter the body mount.

Re: Tech Thread - Toyota Hilux...D4D and all older models.

Cornering stability and overall handling dynamics better worse or same? I'd assume it'd be negatively impacted as higher cog. Not if you get a wider track. According to a lot of the hilux junkies in down under (newHilux forum), a quality lift kit with new shocks springs etc actually improved the ha...

It was a bit stiff at first but after settling out, it's close to stock IMO. Still a little stiffer but that's not an issue for me. If you going with this exact kit, I recommend going to Dean's if you don't want to do the install yourself as the guys there are familiar with it, having helped with mi...

thanks so i should be good to go, any recommendations for someone to do the install? I would say Dean's, Bad Granny, droppa on the forum, etc. The kits are a pretty simple install. Where did you source parts and labour? I bought the kit on amazon and installed it myself by Dean's in Diego Martin. h...

went for 5,000km service on my Hilux today at TTTL, they didn't change the oil filter. they said the engine is designed for the filter to be changed every 10,000kms. can anyone vouch for this? if not i think i would just request they change filter every service
