Help Please: QG16 tranny problem

Calling on the QG experts out there. Can anyone help me with what might be the problem with my transmission? It's a QG16 E-throttle engine/transmission. Changes from 1st to 2nd gear takes slightly longer than normal (which is OK) but when it goes to 2nd gear, there is a very sharp jerk forward. This...

QG non CVT transmission question

Fellow tuners,
Are there any differences between the QG15 transmissions, the QG16 transmissions and the QG18 transmissions (Non CVT)? Also does the transmission vary if the engine is E-throttle or cable throttle?

Re: SSS Spark Plugs - IFR6J11 vs BRK6EIX-11

spanglish1, was it the IFR6J11 or IFR5J11 you used in the Vitara? The reason I ask is the manual says the IFR6J11 is for the 1.6 L Vitara Europe, the IFR5J11 is for the 2.0 L Vitara Europe and the BKR6E11 for all the others.

The manual says for Europe the 2.0 should use the NGK IFR5J11 and non Europe the NGK BKR6E11 however the ones that are presently in th...
