Oh shucks :( , a little while longer and you could have opted for a big valve head that I'm preparing. If flows 16% more than any stock M16A head

Re: SSS Modifications and Upgrades

nah... lifestyle does not have the metal rod. I replaced mine already...like i said above. I also got a new slave cylinder with a metal piston from RRP. That is the one I'm taking my time with changing. Should not be too difficult, but you need help to bleed the system after. But for anyone interest...

Re: SSS Modifications and Upgrades

The metal push rod looks real easy to replicate. I'm sure it can be done locally on the cheap. Changing it was a breeze also; about 10 mins.
Now I can breath easier and relax while driving.

I'll change the cylinder when I get some free time. That one is not so urgent.

Ordered mine from RRP in Japan. If time permits I will try to get some copies of the metal push rod made before I install.

Re: SSS Modifications and Upgrades

Please put up the part number. Thanks! Would be nice if you do a review as well. It wukin ! The pedal pressure is noticeably firmer. Certainly I would only recommend a heavy duty pressure plate if you have considerably more power than stock. I feel that the slave cylinder and push rod need to be up...

RRP mid temp thermostat

Guys I have to make a purchase from RRP in Japan this Sunday for a friend of mine. I though I'd give you all the opportunity if anyone wants to invest in a new thermostat. I can tell you that since I've had mine installed, the car runs 5-8 degrees cooler than before. Not to mention that after I know...

Re: CARS AUTOCROSS SUNDAY 7TH APRIL

BTW. ABS doh work on gravel! I can attest to that! So you have to pick and choose where you can rely on it. Usually the finish box is clean but depending g on the course it is a risk to rely on it coming in hot into a corner. Trust me I've tried [FLUSHED FACE]

Akash all I did was point out to maria and karl that the main difference for the large gaps in times from the leaders in each class is because of driver and less car. They are claiming that maybe the cars are not being classed fairly to which I disagree. Like you I totally agree with the power to w...

Re: CARS AUTOCROSS 1 this Sunday !! 17th March

In my opinion the whole idea of marshaling needs to be re-looked. I believe some out of the box thinking is required instead of just trying to find a way to force the old model work. IMHO you need only two marshals. One is a starter, and the other a spotter who can be on top the container with a pai...

Re: Swift Sport (Schrick) cams.... SOLD

I think the best deal on new cams now would be the Tomei Pro cams available from ebay for under $700 usd.

Just out of curiosity, when you say re-build the head, exactly what parts do you intend to change?

Re: Swift Sport ...Turbo or supercharger??

Basically its fitting a fat head gasket to lower the compression. ... of course the propper way to do it is to install low compression pistons.

Re: Wrong class placment

same thing happened to me at the end of last season. Started with ESP power then ARBs in conjunction with brakes caused me to have to bump up one class.

One option is to remove 1 point value from the car then you're back in ESP!

Re: Cars 2013 proposed rule changes

i suggested this two years ago ...... first bump 4 points second bump 5 points third bump 6 points this way ...a 84hp b14 with race tires, coilovers and a sway bar doesnt end up in open class but back to the topic ...... oem lsd - 1 point aftermarket - 2 points intercoolers - 0 points I agree 100% ...

Re: Swift Sport ...Turbo or supercharger??

lower static compression means the turbo makes more HP per pound of boost. This is why many who start with high compression engines choose to "de-compress" first.
