Re: Renting a car in Tobago online

Just be aware of the rental companies with no extra insurance riders. That's how they make their money in non peak times. Read the fine print and you'll see you responsible for paying for accidents below a certain value. And they ent business with who right and who wrong

Re: ****the official CRICKET thread*****

WI and Afghanistan winning on Saturday would have really thrown the top 4 race into a nice position with England having lost the day before. England's last three matches are against the other top 3 sides and they are by no means certain of a top 4 spot and Saturday would have given more context to m...

Everything was as normal this morning. They haven't used any of the new ramps yet. They were setting up jersey barriers on the ramps on the south side when I passed there around 8.40am.

Got ya, but we do indirectly influence who becomes our president currently, not so? Very marginally as we do vote for the 41 members of the House of Representatives who constitute part of the electoral college. "The President of Trinidad and Tobago is indirectly elected for a 5-year term by an...

Re: Share the burden - PM & President get more $$$

Since the President is our monarchy, that office holder acts as a rubber stamp on many things. But I rather the current setup and associated benefits than to have say an executive president or prime minister. That will not be a very democratic move. We the people do not get to select or vote on our...

Based on the cricket thus far even with the rain England, India, NZ and Australia have been a class apart from everyone else.

An England India final could be quite a possibility if they place 1 and 2 in the group table.

There was a Catholic Church that was destroyed to make way for the dam. It is said that the Catholic priest was so livid that he placed a curse on the project and the dam was never built. Caura is an adaptation of the Arawak word, Cuara. It's actually a sad story. This was once a settlement for Ara...

That is licks. 320 target chased down with 9 overs to spare.
But what form Sakib is in!!!
4 matches in this WC and his scores are 75, 64,121, 124*

He doesn't even need to bowl to justify his place in that squad.

321-7 A good if not spectacular effort on a ground this small (longest boundary here is smaller than the shortest boundary in Southampton where WI last match was).

No for the bowlers to show what they have.
