To fact with the US and its stupid racism.

I really couldn't care less!

Re: Baigan pie recipe

I ended up cutting the baigan in small slices then steaming them for a few minutes with some salt and mild seasoning. The pies came out well enough. Made some pommecythere chutney to go with it. 100% would do again. I have to say I'm a somewhat surprised at the confusion surrounding these baigan pie...

Re: Baigan pie recipe

I never had a 'baigan pie' but the only thing I can think of is that the baigan is roasted, mashed/chopped and onions, garlic etc cooked through before stuffing the loyah-rolling and frying- I cant imagine a slice of baigan in dough being hard to make a recipe for (though it sounds crappy) I feel O...

Re: What's your plan if Covid shuts down schools and offices?

I have a small emergency fund to handle short term emergencies. I dunno if I'm going to get paid after this month. Or even if I will this month.

After that's used up, i'll have to dip into retirement/long term savings. Stress no rass. I can't imagine how paycheck to paycheck folks going to survive

Re: What's your plan if Covid shuts down schools and offices?

After (if ever) this is done and gone, our unemployment rate coulf fall from its current 6-8% to possibly 15-40%

then what???

If you think that's crazy, consider the US is estimating 32% unemployment as a worse-case scenario.
