Re: CAL just bought 12 Boeing 737 Max-8 like the one that crashed in Ethiopia today

CAL not having Max8 aircrafts at this time maybe fortuitous for them, but issues of public safety are far more significant. AA operating in T&T and others transporting people who use these aircrafts maybe exposing people (including nationals both in the air and on the ground) to unacceptable ris...

Re: CAL just bought 12 Boeing 737 Max-8 like the one that crashed in Ethiopia today

What I find discomforting is our local civil aviation authority inability to be proactive in the interest of public safety.
All communication prior to the USA grounding the MAX8 &9 advised not enough infor. was available, whilst the rest of the world was taking action and not gambling with lives.

Re: CAL just bought 12 Boeing 737 Max-8 like the one that crashed in Ethiopia today

The issue relates to the flight envelope logic getting confused in certain situations. In both Lion Air and Ethiopian the incidents happened after takeoff and during the climb. Boeing has said to operators, if the plane basically starts to act weird take it out of autopilot and fly it manually. It ...

The migration patterns in the southern Caribbean may soon change.
One wonders what treatment Trinis could expect on arrival at chedi Jagan Intl Airport in their quest to participate in Guyana's new found wealth.
I suppose it may be no different to what transpired when things were reversed.
