where and what kind of tranny oil can be used in the CY4A 2000cc model.....and whats the best engine oil....???? Use the original Mitsu CVT transmission oil its kinda expensive but you don't want to skimp on something so important...engine oil, I run Shell full synthetic 5W40 in the silver/grey bot...

@Dizzy28 same thing happend to me a time but ratio was closer to half/half...nothing happened in the end. Next time I filled up I just put the premium with some octane boost (for what its worth)

I just bought the FRAM Fresh Breeze filter @ Laughlin and De Gannes for less than a $100,,, exact same thing fits like a glove you don't need the two sticky sponge type strips for this install.

Anyone considering changing their CY4A from CVT to manual or replacing the rear drums with discs? I'm considering both changes myself and just wondering if anyone has done it as yet or if anyone else is planning and knows the logistics of the operation....any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers.

my tires are 225/45/17 but im not sure about my offset nuh. but yea the first set that came in 2.0L do have drum brakes even thoe mine says EX on the back an has all the features. The 2nd batch of EX's are much more luxurious the ones with the 18's and four wheel disks have leather wrapped steering ...

you should have many options non turbo...and I doubt that a SR20 would fit in the engine bay. a b16a from an SIR if it fits. or a d15b vtec might fit like a glove and run like a teif.:lol: other wise starlet 1.3 turbo you should also talk to some of the tuners who did put starlet engines into their ...
