Looking for 2 pairs of coaxial for my x-trail. I was looking at the above speakers but open to suggestions once the price of both pairs don't cross $1800 I have around 50 rms for each.

why put a resistor. the amp will still play without it, operate cooler and sound cleaner at 8 ohms than 4ohms. just to let you know the driver would sound the same way with or without the resistor. the resistor might make it sound even softer
you could use 1 dual 4 ohm speaker (1 coil per channel)
but you should use a mono signal to the input of the amp(y jack or if the amp have a stereo/mono switch)
