Re: AutoSport - Drag & Wind(ing) #3 2015

I always have a torque wrench on me and torque my wheel nuts to 70ft lbs, Additional to the fact that these were aluminium nuts, I have been getting a lot of wheel hop on launching the car, although I did not launch on the race day in some instances I still got a little aggressive hops. This would p...

Re: Incorrect classing of cars at Solodex

Like in a 3000lb car 150 lbs driver weight is a 5% increase but in a 2000 lb car it's a 8% increase in weight. True statement pete but many will say the...

Re: Incorrect classing of cars at Solodex

I think he meant the car was rwd when first dynoed and then properly co better to 4wd. That in my eyes is not the issue and I don't know the drivetrain layout of the vehicle presently or previously. All in all the POINT of this was that it SEEMED like the power of the car increase and nothing was sa...

Re: Incorrect classing of cars at Solodex

The only problem with that is that boosted cars can turn down their boost for the dyno runs and turn it up for the event. This is unfair and I'm sure it is something some may think of doing.

Re: Swift gti wiring issues/ timing advance.

95 octane is the fuel to run with it, the chip has been said to smoothen the power delivery of a stock motor. One other member here I know has used the Toms 2 chip, he should give a review soon.

Reports said from team swift it should not be done unless tuned for. If you look anywhere the most wor...
