Re: K2700 question

TD27 is a solid engine but quite heavy compared to a 2/3C so a bit more strain on your front suspension. Installed a 27 in a van I had and handling was a beyotch so I got rid of it. The original Kia engine is lighter. If you are planning to tote heavy loads in the K2700 on a regular basis I guess th...

Re: WTK: Purpose of Music trucks for Christmas.

I am still trying to understand the highway regulations and permitting process which make siting behind a pick-up illegal but allow you to sit on a Stag case next to poorly secured wall of speaker box, half-bottle of scotch in your head, cannot hear the person next to you, having to hold on to the o...

Re: Container fell off trailer POS

This is quite a normal thing in Trini, a serious road risk the authorities need to clamp down on, but then again most of them fleet owners have people in high places. Just last September there were 2 containers which fell off trailers of the same company within a week of each other, just past Gaspar...

Re: Retaining Walls

Some excellent advise from Rory. Is there any specific recommendations for up-slope drainage, holes, rubble drainage? Whereas I did a rubble drain, condition of slope when rain stared to fall required me to quickly back-fill. All in all would have preferred to prep the up-slope side better - waterpr...

Very sad to know that this innocent lady has lost her life. The traffic branch of the police service responsible for providing the escort of these over-sized units need to take some blame here. Re: Problems: Van Swaying side to side (Experts Plz Assist)

Guys running 35 & 40 psi on a pick-up seem a bit high and risky for wet-road traction, most cars are designed to float on 28-32psi and they are lower gravity-centered, check your manufacturer recommendation and be safe. Many accidents occur when folks substitute larger tyres with less side-wall ...

I see no issue with current brakes set up, just make sure you get the shoe lining revitted. Still running my F20 with 4 drum brakes, really do not need much brakes with low speed low gearing manual box. However for the auto/wife road use eventually disc brakes needed.

^Toyota just well built all around. My moms running she cressida (rx70) 25 years now (from firm) and it still working decent.
